Technically, it’s 4 months, 1 week and 1 day – but who’s counting. I can’t believe the difference between 3 months and 4 months. He’s just a bundle of miracle.
He’s “talking” so much more these days; making so much noise. He giggles like a real little boy and it’s like a unicorn riding a rainbow surrounded by kittens and puppies to me. I would crawl over broken glass and burning embers just to hear him make that sound.
He sits up and holds his head up and looks around at everything. He’s started grabbing for things and is able to pass them from hand-to-hand. He is just starting to put everything in his mouth and I suspect it’s just going to get worse.
He’s cutting back on his feeds and sleeping for longer periods during the night. He’s growing out of his 00 and into his 0′s. He’s started to become a little more fussy when eating. He’d much rather look around at the world than suck from his bottle. It can be a little frustrating but it just means he’s becoming more alert and interested in his surroundings and that’s just fine.
He’s now grabbing for his feet. I wish I was as flexible! He holds his own bottle when we feed him. He loves to spend time in his jumperoo making all the lights and noises go off. He’s just becoming so much more interactive with his environment.

He survived his first adventure on an airplane. He slept for most of the journey and just chilled out when he was awake. We had packed WAY more than we needed to on the flight up there and so put a lot of the crap we thought we needed in as checked luggage on the way home.
He adjusted so well to being outside of his home environment and surrounded by a bunch of strangers. He charmed the socks off of everyone.
HUBBY and I left him with someone for the first time ever and we didn’t even bat an eyelid. Apparently he loves hanging out with his Nan and Pop. He got to spend some precious time with my Nana which was just so bittersweet. She adores him but it’s obvious that she can no longer do all that she wants to and so it had moments of sadness. But I’m so grateful that he was able to meet her.
He’s just so amazing. This post is late because HUBBY and I have been desperately trying to get the house ready for sale and we’ve only been able to achieve that goal because he’s so laid back and happy to entertain himself. He just seems to take everything in his stride.
I’m just so grateful that he’s in our lives. I can’t imagine life without him, and quite frankly I don’t want to. I adore him and he holds my heart like no one else. I’m just so blessed… so very blessed.
