With No Spend January behind us we decided to hit the stores and just check out what we’d been missing while in monetary exile.

OH MY GOD VALENTINE’S DAY IS THIS MONTH!

I’d completely forgotten. Seriously, when you don’t have an office full of women to make jealous by flaunting how awesome your husband is because he sends you amazing flowers on Valentine’s Day it kind of loses it’s meaning.

(I’m so romantic, right!?!)

Now that I have only a 7 month old to impress HUBBY thought he was off the hook.  Well, that’s where he’s wrong! It’s more important then ever now to remind me how much he loves and adores me.  I’ve had a baby, I’m in a vulnerable mental state.  I live in my pajamas – I need an injection of sexy in my world!

(Am I selling it to you yet?)

(No? Well lucky you’re not my husband then because he got the message… which is lucky for him – happy wife = happy life after-all!)

So while we were out and about I thought it would be a good opportunity to drop into my favourite place on earth, Target, and drop some subtle hints about what he could use to tell me how awesome I am in his heart.

I thought I would start with the traditional Valentine’s Day gifts… stuffed toys, hearts and chocolates…

First up, the stuffed toys.

I’m a sucker for a giraffe at the best of times, but this little beauty sings and moves his head up and down. Hours of amusement in a cute package (just like me!).

If he got me one of these I could remember how great our love is as I sip contentedly on the hot Milo he makes me before bed.

It’s practically a public service!)
