Last week I was too busy laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself to play Quick 5 but not this week. This week I’ve gotten myself up and off the couch dusted myself off and found my way back on to the internet.
To celebrate I’m going to share the newest 5 blogs on my must-read list. I would love to know what new blogs you’ve come across lately that have you expanding your reading.

1. Buttercup Ink – I stumbled across Vari’s blog thanks to my involvement in the Creative Collective. I was so impressed with her sense of style and bold designs that can be found in her online store, Buttercup Ink, that I just had to check out her blog and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s funky and fun and I love it.
2. Birch + Bird – If I could claim any blog on the internet as my own it would be this blog. Oh my goodness I swooned. It’s compiled by a wonderful duo of ladies, Rachel and Lily. Not only do they run this amazing blog they also have an eclectically cool Etsy store; Birch + Bird. I lust.
3. Wish Wish Wish – This blog is the masterpiece of 19 year old Carrie who lives in London and I am in lust. This blog totally has the fashionista in me hooked. I have spent hours drooling over the images on this blog and wishing that I had an inch of Carrie’s talent.
4. Twig – I really love this blog because it appeals to the way I surf the net; I look for images over text. This is a great blog for looking into someone else’s very stylish life. I’m a little concerned that this blog might be in extended hiatus as there hasn’t been a new post since January 2011 but I live in hope that it’ll come back to life very soon. In the meantime I’ll sate my desire for more by looking back through the archives.
5. Grosgrain – I’m sure I’m late to the party on this one but I’ve found a couple of really cool tutorials on this blog in the past few days and it’s got me addicted. I just love how much Kathleen manages to get done in a week. It’s inspirational. I can’t wait to go through all her tutorials and create some wonderful for our home.
