I’m very happy to announce that I have opened my own online fabric store; Green Tangerine Quilts.
For awhile now I’ve been lamenting the fact that I just can’t seem to buy the fabrics I want locally. I have a really great LQS but it doesn’t always stock what I’d like to use and in the past I’ve had to order fabric from the US in an attempt to sate my appetite for all the pretty.
I’ve had the idea brewing for awhile now and I was just really waiting to get the courage up to trust in myself and when the hot water system decided to end it’s life I took that as a sign that I should start mine.
My goal is a simple one; I’m going to stock all the fabrics I love and can’t find locally.
I’m going to start out small and see where it takes me.
At the moment I’m still in the process of setting everything up, but I do have some fabric available with more on the way. I’ve got some big plans and even bigger dreams.
I’ll admit to being a little apprehensive (ok, sh!t scared) about the whole venture, but I figure you’ve got to take a risk sometimes.
So, that’s what I’ve been doing, what have you been up to?
