THE FUSSY CUTTERS CLUB LINK PARTY

Fussy Cutters Unite! GnomeAngel.com

Welcome to The Fussy Cutters Club link party! Did you see the wonderful projects linked to in our first every link party? I thought I’d share with you some of my favourites and show the winner of the Mystery F8 Bundle.

Social Tote by Cat from Cat & Vee.

The fabulous Cat from Cat & Vee shared with us the beginnings of her Social Tote. Cat attended a class taught by Lorena Uriarte (who just happened to be featured here) in Brisbane where they spent the day learning to make the Social Tote. It looked like so much fun and you can read about (and see) Cat’s final product here.

Liberty House Blocks by Caroline Gunn.

Caroline shared these adorable Liberty house blocks she’s making as part of her Mini Dwell Quilt. You can see more of Caroline’s work on her Instagram account.

Hexagons by The House of the Side of the Hill.

Melody from The House on the Side of the Hill shared her fabulous (and growing) collection of hexagons. Such a great use of a feature fabric and repeating patterns. I can’t wait to see these come together.

Fussy Cut star by Bron of Krafty Kuka.

Bron from Krafty Kuka gave us a sneak peek of a project that she’s working on. I adore this colour combination and Red looks like she was made for the center of that star.

Ms Midge Polaroid Quilted Placemat Tutorial.

Melissa from Ms Midge took it one step further and share a great tutorial on how to make a Polaroid quilted placemat. I’m pretty sure this is for me… there’s a gnome and my name could be Angela…. If you want me I’ll be waiting by the mailbox for my placemat to arrive.

Fussy Cutters Club winning entry by Linden Vine of Vine Lines Quilting Adventures.

And the winning entry came from Linden Vine of Vine Lines Quilting Adventures. Linden made this wonderful mini for her Schnitzel & Boo swap partner using the Jaybird Quilts Hex N More ruler.  Linden received a mystery bundle of 5 fat eights from Shop GnomeAngel.

Are you a member of The Fussy Cutters Club?

Fussy cutters unite - GnomeAngel.comMembership is easy – just make and link (either as a work in progress or completed project) something you’ve done using fussy cutting.

You can also join The Fussy Cutters Club on Facebook. It’s a great way to stay connected, inspired and motivate. Also, it has really great sew and tell!

Don’t know what a link party is or how to participate, no problem – read this explanatory post.

Here are the linky rules:

1. Link up any blog post or Instagram photo from the past week that features the use of fussy cutting.

2. If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog.

3. If you are linking to an Instagram photo, please hashtag #thefussycuttersclub and mention me, @gnomeangel. To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon in the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL would be http://www.instagram.com/gnomeangel).

4. Comment on at least a few of the other members of The Fussy Cutters Club links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

And remember, you can participate only on Instagram if you prefer. You don’t necessarily need to link up here. Just hashtag #thefussycuttersclub — and then check the hashtag to see what everybody else is working on!
