This week I’m sharing with you all another simply wonderful lady from the Creative Collective,Tam from One Craftee Mumma!  I’m ashamed to say that before being introduced to Tam through the Creative Collective I had not had the pleasure of visiting her site.  That has well and truly been rectified.

I love the little window into her world that her site provides.  I love the bright and cheerful way she approaches everything, not to mention she has a great eye for craft!  So without further ado, here’s Tam to tell you about her top ten crushes of the moment!

I must say that I am excited to be in the land of Gnomeangel today! So much fun stuff goes on here!

So why am I here you ask? Well my mission is to share with you my current top 10 loves/crushes. Some of these are pretty permanent fixtures in my list others come and go. So without further ado here they are, in no particular order of course….

1 :: The Country
The smell, the fresh air, the scenery, the peace and quiet – just a couple of reasons why I love it. My Mum and Dad live in the country, smack bang in the middle of an apple orchard, literally surrounded by rows and rows of apple trees. I love nothing more than spending time out there lapping up the scenery and the serenity.

2 :: Bakers Twine
Such a simple, yet effective way to dress up anything, gifts, tags, parcels – the possibilities are totally endless! Not to mention all the fab colours that are now available.

3 :: Etsy
I guess not a lot really needs to be said here. So many cleaver people in the world and a lot of them can be found here in this little handmade heaven!

4 :: Gardenias
A simple sign that it is Spring. Gardenias would have to be one of my favourite flowers. The scent and their simple, yet elegant look are both reasons why they remain on my favourites list. Not to mention there is nothing better than their smell drifting through your windows at night.

5 :: American Crafts
I have a major obsession with the scrapbooking company – American Crafts! Each time a new line of paper and embellishments are released I am never disappointed. Not only are their products gorgeous but they are also very user friendly. I have so many pieces of scrapbooking paper that I have bought because I just had to have it, but I just don’t know what to do with it. Funnily enough the American Crafts paper is always used!

6 :: Zippered Pouches
Can you have too many zippered pouches? A question I frequently ask myself. Obviously not though because I just keep buying them. No particular reason or explanation for this love, just one of those things.

7 :: Post-It Notes
Bit like the zippered pouches really – can you have too many post-it notes? Definetely not when they come in so many different colours, shapes and sizes. I once worked at a place where it was company policy that unless you bought your own, post-it notes were not allowed – how bizarre! Needless to say I no longer work there, I couldn’t survive under those conditions!

8 :: Parcels in the Post
So much better than bills! Is it bad that I am on a first name basis with the Australia Post Contractor that delivers all my online purchases?

[image]

9 :: Writing in Pencil
Not sure what it is but I love writing in pencil. Maybe it is the way it feels, the way the pencil just seems to glide across the page? Maybe it is because my handwriting looks neater in pencil? Like I said, I don’t know what it is, I just love it!

10 :: The Lead up to Christmas
Am I on my own here? Not sure what it is (once again!) but I find all the stress and preparation so much more exciting than Christmas Day itself!

So there you have it my Top 10 Loves/Crushes – for this week at least! Do yourself a favour and keep your eye on Ange’s little piece of the web here at Gnomeangel, you will not be disappointed.

      Hi Maxabella :)

      Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

      I am a recent convert to Tam, but I’m so glad I found her. It’s funny when you find someone who shares the same loves that you do, but you’re both from completely different walks of life. It’s like a little internet miracle.

      I too love all of these, and there’s one or two that I hadn’t heard of before which is always fun.

      Thanks again for stopping by, I hope you come back soon. :)
